Crystal Chain Gang
Martinborough, Wairarapa, Aotearoa

Crystal Chain Gang creates bespoke installations that shape light, space, and perception. Working across sculptural lighting and large-scale commissions, their practice transforms environments into immersive fields—where form carries story, and light becomes a material in its own right.

Each work is developed in close dialogue with place. Responding to architecture, context, and client vision, their installations are both precise and intuitive—balancing structure with atmosphere, and presence with subtlety.

At the core of the practice is a sensitivity to resonance: how objects hold memory, how light shifts emotion, how space can be felt as much as seen.

Across scales, Crystal Chain Gang’s work sits between sculpture and environment—crafted, atmospheric, and deeply attuned to place.
